TAU SYSTEM
Tau is Translucent Energy’s autonomous, containerized PV system for on- and off-grid electrification. The system includes solar modules, energy storage, and an energy management system.
Solar modules are fixed on a prefabricated structure that can be easily unfolded on-site. Tau is suitable for any commercial or industrial application. It is also easily configured to be roof or ground-mounted based on the customer's needs and requirements.
The system operates in total silence. During the day, end-users can run power directly off the PV system; during the night, the TAU provides power through its energy storage system. The Tau Energy Management System provides full control on-site and remotely.
GREEN HYDROGEN POWER
TRANSLUCENT ENERGY’S GREEN HYDROGEN BACKUP IS AN OPTIONAL ADD-ON TO THE TAU SYSTEM, AN AUTONOMOUS CONTAINERISED PV SYSTEM FOR OFF-GRID ELECTRIFICATION.
THE GREEN HYDROGEN BACKUP SYSTEM IS A TOTALLY SELF-CONTAINED POWER STORAGE OPTION, PRODUCING HYDROGEN FROM ATMOSPHERIC WATER, WHICH IS THEN CAPTURED AND RUN THROUGH AN ELECTROLYZER TO SEPARATE THE HYDROGEN NECESSARY TO RUN A FUEL CELL THAT CAN ACT AS AN ADDITIONAL POWER SOURCE.
ANOTHER OPTIONAL ADD-ON IS THEIR ATMOSPHERIC WATER GENERATION SYSTEM, CAPABLE OF EXTRACTING PURE WATER FROM THE ATMOSPHERE TO FILL AN ONBOARD STORAGE RESERVOIR. THE WATER IS THEN FILTERED TO PRODUCE CLEAN DRINKING WATER.
